Welcome to the about page of this site, here you will read about the history and the involvement of Daz Digler within the music industry.
DJ, Producer and Events Organiser was born on the 27th of September 1981 . His love for the fundamentals of music began in his early teens. When he was just 15 he purchased his first set of turntables and began his journey into sound. At 16 Daz Digler began spinning Hardcore and Drum n Bass tunes with friends. He was introduced to a few local DJ's and played sets at organised events at local village halls and house Party's. At 17 he sought for bigger involvement within these music events and decided to organise his own event called "Boblins".
After the success of his organised events, people approached Daz Digler to organise big birthday party's at their local village halls to cater music for up to 250 people. As Daz Digler's reputation grew as a DJ , he was asked to play at other music events and night clubs, such as Urban Beats and Capone's nightclub in Dursley. After Plans to expand on his music career and involvement, Daz Digler enrolled on a Music Technology HND course at Teesside University in Middlesbrorough. Whilst on this course he gained a DJ residency at a Club called the Empire, playing alongside DJ Little Seedy. Whilst performing with Little Seedy, Daz Digler acquired a taste for the art of turntablism along with a great love for Hip Hop.
In 2003, after hooking up with MC Double E, Daz Digler produced his first track called "Tight on the Mic". The song was entered into an Unsigned competition on the well known Sky TV Channel "Channel U". It got entered straight into the Top 10 and got awarded forth place by the Channel U viewers. This then inspired a three track E.P called "Tight on tha Mic".
After gaining his music technology qualification Daz Digler formed D.C Productions. D.C Productions became a platform for Music Production, Music Events and the most recent addition Web Design.
In September 2005, Daz Digler and another local DJ Lawrence Smith planned and organised a Fundraising event called "The Launch Party". This was in aid of raising money to save Charfield Village Hall from closure. After continuing Production work with other artists and DJ's, Daz Digler got involved with Funky Junky Promotions giving him the opportunity to DJ at nightclubs such as Bar Riga and Liquid Diva. This led to DJ with the likes of Tim Westwood, Judge Jules, Dread MC and Simon Pissani.
